We have just returned from Meknes. Our tour was a whirlwind but full of interesting facts and sites. We saw the school where four children shared 6x6 rooms, the aqueduct used for the disposal (a.k.a. murder) of 17th century concubines, the intricate tile work of the burial chamber, and who could forget the prison fortress golf course or the unorthodox Roman ruins. It was a collage of smells, exotic clothing, donkeys, produce and I loved the whole thing.
